Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know about hiring a photo booth or mirror booth, short and clear.
Price and booking
How much does it cost to hire a photo booth?
You can hire a photo booth from us from €250 (Social, digital only). Comfort with unlimited prints costs €375 for up to 6 hours, Care-Free €400 for a whole day or night and Paparazzi €525 with everything included. The Mirrorbooth costs €550. Transport and installation are included in every package. See all packages.
Are transport and installation included?
Yes. We deliver, install and collect the booth anywhere in Belgium. We also deliver to the Netherlands, where we charge a small supplement because we have further to drive.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. The prices of all our packages and options include VAT, so what you see is what you pay.
How far in advance should I book?
You can book up to a year in advance. The earlier you are, the better the chance your date is still free. Your booking is final after our written confirmation.
Do I have to pay anything upfront or leave a security deposit?
No, you pay no upfront payment and no security deposit. Private customers pay on the day of the event at the latest, companies receive an invoice after the event. Without insurance, however, you are liable for damage or theft. A photo booth is worth more than €7,500, so insurance from €25 is well worth having.
What if I have to cancel?
More than 45 days before your event, you cancel free of charge. Between 45 and 20 days you pay 25% of the total amount, between 20 and 7 days 50% and less than 7 days in advance 75%. It's all in our terms and conditions.
Can I hire a photo booth for several days?
Certainly, and you get an extra discount. The booth runs completely autonomously, so it can also stay for several days at a festival or trade show. Request a tailored quote.
Is a photo booth the same as a photobooth or selfie booth?
Yes. Photobooth is just another spelling of photo booth, and selfie booth or photo pod are other names for the same machine.
At the venue
What do I need to provide at the venue?
One power socket nearby, enough clear space, easy access and a parking space or loading zone close by. The installation itself takes about 15 minutes.
Can the photo booth stand outdoors?
Only if the booth is fully sheltered, under a tent, canopy or roofed structure, with no rain, moisture or direct sunlight. The Mirrorbooth must never stand outdoors.
Is a backdrop necessary?
Not necessarily, many people just use a wall. If you want a backdrop that matches the theme of your event, choose from our collection of backdrops for €50.
Is a photo booth hard to use?
No. Everything is self-explanatory, for your guests and for you. Guests tap the screen, pose and their photo rolls out about 10 seconds later.
What if something goes wrong during the party?
A member of staff is on stand-by during every event. We first solve problems by phone or remotely. If that doesn't work, we come to the venue, until 01:00 at the latest.
Can you set up the booth earlier?
Yes. We agree the set-up time with you, so it fits your schedule and the venue's.
When do you collect the photo booth?
We plan the collection in consultation with you too. If it really has to be at night, that's possible with a night collection: €60 between midnight and 1am, €90 between 1am and 7am.
Prints and photos
Are the prints really unlimited?
Yes, in all packages with prints. One roll of paper lasts about 8 hours of non-stop printing. When the roll runs out, we come and replace it. Only the Social package works without prints.
How fast is the printer and what format do I get?
Our professional photo printer prints in about 10 seconds. You choose between strips of 5 x 15 cm or a single photo of 10 x 15 cm.
How are the prints designed?
After your booking, one of our designers gets in touch to create a custom design with your text, logo or photo. You can also design it yourself, with our blank template.
Do you put advertising on the prints?
No. It's about you, not us. None of our advertising goes on the prints.
Can a photo from our wedding day go on the prints?
Yes, with the photo of the day option (€9). We coordinate with your photographer and add a wedding photo to the prints that same day.
Can we still get the prints after the event?
Yes, with the extra prints by post option (€35) you receive all the prints in duplicate after your event. That way your guests can take their own photo home and you won't miss a single one.
When do I get the digital photos?
Normally within two weeks, via a personal web link. If you want to be able to view and download them forever, there's the permanent storage option (€9).
Is the photo quality good enough?
Our booths use a professional 18-megapixel reflex camera and built-in lighting. So the photos are sharp, even in a dark function room.
Are props included?
Yes, every booth comes with a box of hats, wigs, feather boas, glasses and paper props.
Do you use our photos for advertising?
No, never without your permission.
Mirrorbooth
What is the difference between a mirror booth and a photo booth?
A mirror booth is a luxury photo booth in which you see yourself in a large mirror. Behind the mirror are a reflex camera and a screen, so the mirror can show animations, text and effects while you pose. A classic photo booth is more compact and, if sheltered, can also stand outdoors. Read more about the Mirrorbooth.
How big is the Mirrorbooth and how much space does it need?
The mirror measures 1540 x 920 x 640 mm and weighs almost 100 kg. Allow 3 x 3 metres of clear space.
Can the Mirrorbooth go anywhere?
Only indoors, on the ground floor or reachable by a sufficiently spacious lift. It cannot be carried up or down stairs.
