Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all hire agreements with Msol BV, trading under the names Foto-booth.be and mirrorbooth.be. By confirming a booking, you accept these terms. You can also download them as a PDF (in Dutch).
2. Booking and payment
A booking is final after written confirmation by Msol BV. Private customers pay on the day of the event at the latest. For business customers with a valid VAT number, the invoice is sent after the event in accordance with the agreed payment terms. In the event of non-payment, Msol BV may refuse future deliveries or bookings.
3. Obligations of the hirer
- Provide enough clear space for a safe set-up of the photo booth or mirror booth.
- Treat the hired equipment throughout the entire hire period with the care of a prudent and reasonable person ("goede huisvader").
- Take all reasonable measures to prevent damage, loss or theft.
- Provide a working power connection in the immediate vicinity of the set-up location.
- Ensure easy access to the venue for delivery, installation and collection.
- Provide a parking space or loading and unloading zone in the immediate vicinity of the venue. Any parking costs are payable by the hirer.
- Contact Foto-Booth.be immediately in the event of technical problems.
Outdoor set-up of the photo booth
- The weather conditions must permit it.
- The device must be fully sheltered under a tent, canopy or roofed structure.
- No rain, moisture, wind or direct sunlight may reach the device.
- With an outdoor set-up, the hirer remains fully liable for all damage, defects or malfunctions of the photo booth that are a direct or indirect result of the outdoor set-up. All resulting repair, replacement and transport costs are payable in full by the hirer.
Specific conditions for the Mirror Booth
- The Mirror Booth may only be set up indoors.
- The Mirror Booth may never be used outdoors.
- The Mirror Booth cannot be carried up or down stairs.
- The set-up location must be on the ground floor or accessible by a sufficiently spacious lift.
- If these conditions are not met, Foto-Booth.be reserves the right to refuse the installation. In that case, the full hire amount remains due.
Prohibited actions
- Moving the photo booth or mirror booth.
- Disconnecting cables.
- Placing drinks or food on the photo booth.
- Opening the housing of the devices.
- Carrying out repairs or modifications to the installation yourself.
In the event of misuse, vandalism, aggressive behaviour or situations in which damage to the equipment is imminent, Foto-Booth.be reserves the right to stop the hire immediately without refund.
4. Cancellation

5. Delivery and installation
The equipment is delivered, set up and collected by Foto-Booth.be or an appointed member of staff.
The hirer is responsible for:
- Making the venue accessible at the times agreed in advance for the delivery, installation and collection of the equipment.
- Providing enough space for a safe set-up.
- Providing a working power connection.
- Providing sufficient parking in the immediate vicinity of the venue so that the equipment can be safely loaded, unloaded, set up and collected.
If the hirer causes Foto-Booth.be to be unable to set up or collect the equipment at the agreed times (through absence, an inaccessible venue, lack of access, insufficient parking or other circumstances beyond the control of Foto-Booth.be), a flat-rate charge of €75 excl. VAT will be made.
6. Use of the equipment
The equipment may not be moved or opened. In the event of misuse, vandalism or aggressive behaviour, Foto-Booth.be may end the hire immediately without refund.
7. Technical faults
Foto-Booth.be makes every effort to guarantee the correct operation of the hired equipment.
To guarantee fast and efficient support, our devices are preferably connected to the internet. This allows Foto-Booth.be to monitor and take over the photo booth remotely and to analyse and resolve technical problems in real time.
During every event, a member of staff of Foto-Booth.be is always on stand-by for technical support.
In the event of technical problems, the hirer must contact Foto-Booth.be immediately. We first try to resolve any problems by telephone or remotely.
If the problem cannot be resolved by telephone or remotely, a member of staff will come to the venue. These interventions are carried out until 01:00 at night at the latest.
The liability of Foto-Booth.be remains limited in all cases to the hire amount paid by the hirer.
8. Damage, theft and insurance
Without insurance, the hirer is fully liable for damage, loss, vandalism and theft. With insurance, an excess applies depending on the chosen level of insurance. Intentional damage or gross negligence are never covered.
9. Photos and privacy
The digital photos are normally delivered within two weeks. Foto-Booth.be does not use photos showing customers for promotional purposes without the customer's consent.
10. Force majeure
Foto-Booth.be cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond its control. A reasonable solution will always be sought.
11. Governing law
All agreements are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp.
