Photo booth hire: how does it work, step by step?

You choose a package, book by email with no advance payment, and after you book, our designer creates the design for your prints. We deliver, install and collect the photo booth; you provide a clear space, a power socket and easy access.

Hiring a photo booth takes six steps: you choose a package, book, have the layout of your prints made, we deliver and install, your guests use the booth themselves and afterwards you receive all the photos digitally. You don't need any technical knowledge for any of it.

Step 1: which package suits your party?

The biggest decision is whether you want prints and how long the booth needs to stay. All packages include transport, installation and props.

Package Price What you get
Social €250 Digital only, no prints. Whole day or evening/night
Comfort €375 Unlimited personalised prints, up to 6 hours
Care-Free €400 Everything in Comfort, but for the whole day or evening/night. Our best deal
Care-Free with green screen €575 Care-Free, plus green screen
Paparazzi €525 Everything in Care-Free plus premium props, glambooth, internet anywhere and a custom start screen. Ideal for businesses
Mirrorbooth €550 Smart photo mirror with animations and touch controls, indoors only

You'll find details and extras under all packages and prices. If you have a specific backdrop, a green screen with your own theme or a photo booth in the style of your brand in mind, ask for a custom quote. The same goes if you want to hire for several days, because then you get a discount.

Step 2: how do you book a photo booth?

You book by email via info@foto-booth.be. That email exchange counts as a valid booking and we don't ask for an advance payment. Here's what we need from you:

  • the date
  • the location
  • a contact person on site
  • your billing details
  • the delivery time you'd like

Step 3: how does the design of your prints come together?

After you book, our designer creates a custom design with your text, logo or photo. You can also design it yourself with our template. We don't put any advertising on the prints.

Getting married? Email us a photo of the two of you in advance, in landscape format, so it can go on the photo strips.

Step 4: what do you need to provide for delivery?

We deliver, install and collect the booth, 7 days a week. Installation takes about 15 minutes. You provide:

  • a clear space
  • a power socket
  • easy access to the spot
  • parking or a loading area

Celebrating outdoors? Then the booth has to be fully sheltered, so read our tips for an outdoor set-up in summer.

We deliver throughout Belgium and even in the Netherlands. So Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Hasselt, Bruges, Kortrijk, Ostend and Mechelen are all covered, as are smaller towns and villages.

Step 5: how do your guests use the photo booth?

Once the booth is up, it's child's play:

  1. Your guests take their place in front of the camera and choose accessories from the props.
  2. They follow the steps on the touchscreen and pose.
  3. Cheese: the camera takes the photo.
  4. The printer prints in about 10 seconds, on strips of 5 x 15 cm or as a single photo of 10 x 15 cm.

Behind that simplicity is professional equipment: an 18-megapixel Canon reflex camera instead of a webcam, and a professional photo printer. In the packages with prints, prints are unlimited during the event. Guests can also share their photo via a QR code, which requires internet.

A member of staff is on standby during every event. We solve any problem by phone or remotely first, and otherwise come on site until 01:00 at the latest.

Can a photographer also stand behind the camera?

Yes. The principle stays broadly the same, except that a photographer takes the photos instead of the booth. They are then printed and uploaded automatically. This option costs €150 for the first hour and then €120 per hour. All the rates are listed under the extra options.

Tip for couples: put a guestbook next to it

Have guests stick their strip in a guestbook with a personal message. With the extra prints by post option (€35), all the prints are sent to your home in duplicate after the event. A standard guestbook costs €35, a premium guestbook €75.

Step 6: what happens after the party?

We agree together when we'll collect the booth. If that has to be during the night, it costs €60 between midnight and 1am and €90 between 1am and 7am. You normally receive your digital photos via a web link within two weeks. We don't use customers' photos for promotion without your permission.

If you'd like to go over the whole process again, you'll also find it on our page how it works.
