A photo booth for your Saint Nicholas party: practical tips

A Saint Nicholas party in Belgium is all about the children, but the waiting can feel long to them. A photo booth gives them something fun to do, and every child goes home with their own photo. That makes it a good fit for a staff party with children, a school party, a club or a big family gathering.

Where does a photo booth go at a Saint Nicholas party?

Put the booth where the children pass anyway, for example between the play corner and the table with mandarins and speculoos biscuits. At a staff party it can stand next to the reception, so parents can join the photo while they wait for the Saint's visit.

A print is also a practical little gift. The photo goes home with them, so you do not need another keepsake. Our designer puts the name of your school or company and the date on the strip.

Which props work best?

Every booth comes with a box of hats, wigs, boas, glasses and paper props. For the theme, add a few of your own:

• paper mitres, which children can make in advance
• white beards made of cotton wool or card
• a crozier made of card
• letters or signs with the name of your class or department
